There is literally nothing better to take a photo of than my dogs!  They are my number one models, even when they aren't cooperating with me.  I also love photographing any other animal I see.  Nothing is better than when I look back at the photos and remember each animal and how much I wanted to pet it, or if I got to pet it, how soft it was!
